GM the Heartbreak of America
General Motors has changed that for me. I just caught the new GM commercial paying tribute to Martin Lucifer Koon Jr. The campaign is called the “Table of the Brotherhood Project”. Now I do not have an issue with GM honoring MLK, but I do have an issue with how they honor him. This campaign opens up with MLKs speech and shows a little fro headed kid in a ghetto to which evil whites put him there. In the ghetto is a long table set with beautiful silver and crystal. Then they pan to a old rich white man in a sweater watering his gated garden. The table also reaches into his guilt ridden white neighborhood.
Then when the speech gets to the part about the sons of slaves sitting at the table with slave owners sons, you see the table fill up with Whites and blacks……oh what a scene.
See my problem with this is that it reinforces the falsehood that Whites are guilty of slavery, and more specifically it paints a picture that shows ALL Whites are guiltily of slavery and that we still owe the blacks. As much as I hate to drive traffic to their site, check out the link and to the right of their page is the video.
What do you think, is this GM kowtowing to the current black administration for the bailout? GM has now learned how to wield the White Guilt Hammer!
