Rochester, N.Y. — Two brothers are accused of using a 20-guage shotgun to rob a bicyclist Saturday afternoon.
Police say 21-year-old Christopher Carter and 17-year-old Jeremy Greene held the victim at gunpoint on a bike path along the Erie Canal. Police also say at least one shot was fired, but the victim was not injured.
The victim was able to flag down police, who arrested the two suspects after a brief foot chase at a home on Ellicott Street. Police also recovered the shotgun allegedly used in the robbery at a drycleaners on Thurston Road.
Carter and Greene are facing robbery, grand larceny and weapons charges. Both are being held in the Monroe County Jail on $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
